How did 20000's journey begin?
In late 2018, a group of tech-savvy, cricket-passionate young Bangladeshis identified a real problem. The online betting platforms available at the time weren't built with Bangladeshi users in mind — the interface was in English, payment methods didn't suit us, and customer support wasn't available in Bangla. Placing bets during the Cricket World Cup was a frustrating experience every step of the way.
And from solving that problem, 20000 was born 20000. The name came from a simple idea — that every cricket fan in Bangladesh should be able to bet on their favourite sport with ease. We started with just a handful of sports markets, and today our platform covers 30+ sports.
The road wasn't easy. Building the technology, establishing security systems, setting up payment gateways — every step came with its own challenges.
